I certainly HOPE they were opened and closed by hand. I'd be kinda weirded out if they were opened and closed by paw. Or by tentacle. Especially by mandible. *shudder*

Haha. I put that in the description when I don't have much else to put because some people don't KNOW what maille is and assume it's machine woven. I know, crazy! Also, I wish I had tentacles.

*laughing* Considering some of the detail work, I can see where people would make that assumption.

Extra tentacles would make some of MY chainmaille work a lot easier, definitely.

Thats cool,
It took me a while to figure out what type of weave it is...its persian, never thought of making a persian chain that way before...very nice!
